The Retas were launched by Progressive Greetings magazine in 2005, in recognition of the tremendous contribution that retailers both large and small, make to the success of the greeting card industry. Now in their seventh year, The Retas are established as the summer event for the greeting card community. It brings together the entire greeting card industry for an afternoon of celebration.
The Retas recognise and celebrate not only the top independent and multiple greeting card retailers regionally and nationally, but also the new generation of retailers as well as employees of outstanding excellence.
The Retas ‘Ballroom Blitz’
The Retas winners were unveiled at a Sumptuous Retas Awards Lunch which was attended by people from all walks of the greeting card trade – including a myriad of retailers and suppliers.
This year’s Awards, hosted by comedian Simon Evans and serenaded by Lola Lamour, was a ‘jolly good’ Retas awards Ballroom Blitz extravaganza. Full details of the outstanding 2011 winners will appear in all their glory in Progressive Greeting August edition.
